NEOLITHIC - BIOGRAPHY

Exactly ten years ago in 1993 Neolithic recorded their first material under the title "The Personal Fragment..." which was released up to three times. The labels involved in it were 93'Kassandra Rec. (MC), 94'Loud Out Rec. (MC), 95'Adipocere Rec. (CD). A very good feedback from the fans, independent press and a lot of interest from many labels led to prolonging the contract with Adipocere Rec. which released the next material - "For Destroy...", recprded in 1994 in Modern Sound Studio again and apearing in the country under the license with 96'Morbid Noizz Rec.

The end of 1996 sees a contract with Mystic Prod and recording a mini lp. in Selani Studio, entitled "Neolithic" and released only in an MC version in 1997. With that production finishes the first period of Neolithic's achievements. The group received very good reviews in independent and official press all over the world and participated in events including Jarocin'94, S'trash'ydlo'94 etc. Some of the tracks also appeared on several prestigious compilation records such as CD Nuclear Blast or a CD added to the Terrorizer Mag.

The following years are connected with many changes in the band: moving from Mlawa to Warsaw, changes in the line-up and problems with the metal label. All this was the reason for the group's absence on the scene.

However, Neolithic has not given up just yet; in Serakos Sudio, 2002, the works on a new release were completed, which is a continuation of the band's tradition. Thus expect a pessimistic vision of the world and human relations along with a very subjective view of sounds and words in this new album called "My Beautiful Enemy". The lp was released in February 2003 by Mystic Prod. in the form of an exlusive, containing two CDs digi pack. It contains 8 tracks of "My beautiful...", a multimedia track, the band's photos, the mini LP "Neolithic" (first time on CD) and a bonus track (a cover).

In September 2003 Neolithic entered The Hendrix Studio in Lublin. The newest MCD is going to appear in the next Trash'em All mag. as an Empire Records release. The recording sums up the ten years' period of Neolithic's existence. The recording entitled "Team 666" contains 3 new tracks "Hellboy", "Dying" and "Team 666" plus a new version of the older track "My beautiful Enemy". It also contains some additional elements, including video clips of "Team 666" and "Love?", a coverage of "Love?" video recording, another archival video "Szacunek dla zmarlego" and the so-called "History" - photo archives, full discography and others. All of this is to come in the 6/03 issue of Thrash'em All mag, 5th December.
This release is the presage of a new album planned to be recorded at the beginning of next year, under an inofficial title of "SeXolitic".

NEOLITHIC – BIOGRAFIA

Dokładnie dziesięć lat temu, w 1993r. NEOLITHIC po raz pierwszy wszedł do studia. "The Personal Fragment Of Life", bo taki właśnie tytuł nosił pierwszy materiał zespołu, został wydany aż trzykrotnie. Były to wydawnictwa: 93’ Kassandra Rec. (MC), 94' Loud Out Rec. (MC), 95' Adipocere Rec. (CD). Bardzo dobre przyjęcie przez niezależną prasę, fanów i duży odzew ze strony wielu wytwórni zaowocował przedłużeniem kontraktu na kolejną płytę z francuską Adipocere Rec.
Kolejny materiał zespołu, "For Destroy The Lament" został zarejestrowany w 1995 roku, również w Modern Sound Studio. Płyta ukazała się za pośrednictwem: 95’Adipocere Rec., w kraju - licencja 96’ Morbid Noizz Rec.
Koniec 96’ to kontrakt z Mystic Production i wizyta w Selani Studio. W efekcie powstał mini lp. "Neolithic" wydany tylko w wersji MC w 97’roku.
Tak w wielkim skrócie można podsumować pierwszy okres działalności zespołu. NEOLITHIC miał bardzo dobre recenzje w prasie niezależnej i oficjalnej na całym świecie, uczestniczył w wielu bardzo dobrze przyjętych koncertach (m.in. Jarocin '94, S'trash'ydlo '94). Utwory zespołu znalazły się na wielu prestiżowych składankach MC/CD na całym świecie (m.in. CD Nuclear Blast, CD do magazynu Terrorizer).
Następne lata to przeniesienie zespołu z Mławy do Warszawy, problemy personalne i nieporozumienia z wydawcami, co spowodowało dość długą nieobecność na scenie.
NEOLITHIC jednak nie powiedział jeszcze ostatniego słowa. W 2002r. w Serakos Studio zostały zakończone prace nad kolejnym wydawnictwem. Nowa propozycja NEOLITHIC to kontynuacja tradycji zespołu, pesymistyczna wizja świata, stosunków międzyludzkich, własne spojrzenie na dźwięki i słowa - tak można najkrócej zdefiniować teksty i muzykę zawartą na "My Beautiful Enemy" - taki właśnie tytuł nosi ta produkcja.
Płyta ukazała się w lutym 03' Mystic Production jako ekskluzywny, dwupłytowy digi pack. Do "My Beautiful Enemy" na którym znajduje się osiem nowych propozycji, teledysk, oraz zdjęcia zespołu - został dodany mini lp "Neolithic" (po raz pierwszy w wersji CD), wzbogacony o bonus track - cover.
Ciśnienie na więcej spowodowało, że we wrześniu tego roku zespół znalazł się w studiu Hendrix, w Lublinie. Najnowszy MCD zespołu ukaże się w następnym numerze magazynu Thrash'em All jako wydawnictwo Empire Records. Jest to materiał zamykający 10 lat istnienia NEOLITHIC. Na płycie zatytułowanej "Team 666" znajdą się 3 premierowe utwory "Hellboy", "Dying" i tytułowy "Team 666", poza tym nowa wersja utworu z poprzedniej płyty - "My Beautiful Enemy". Na materiale znajdzie się także sporo ciekawostek multimedialnych, a mianowicie : video-clipy do utworów "Team 666" oraz "Love?", reportaż z planu video-clipu "Love?" (20 minut ujęć zza kamery), kolejne archiwalne video "Szacunek Dla Zmarłego" oraz tzw. "History", czyli archiwum zdjęć, pełna dyskografia i inne smaczki. Przypominamy, że płyta ukaże się wraz z Nr6/03 Thrash'em All, 5 grudnia. Wydawnictwo to jest przedsmakiem przed planowanym na początek przyszłego roku nagraniem kolejnej pełno czasowej płyty o roboczym tytule "SeXolithic".
